Miramira and Vocevoce re-sign with Drua till 2027

Fiji Water Flying Fijians forwards Vilive Miramira and Mesake Vocevoce have re-signed with the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua till 2027.

Fijian Drua General Manager Rugby Baden Stephenson says the Club is thrilled to have both Miramira and Vocevoce recommit to the Drua for a further two seasons.

Stephenson says both players suit the way Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific is being played at the moment as they bring complimentary skills, physicality and athleticism to the team.

Miramira has been a foundation player of the Drua, having been with the Club since its inaugural season in 2022 making 36 appearances to date, scoring three tries.

He says he is grateful and blessed to sign again with the Drua for the next few years and it’s a great club, means a lot to him and his family hoping to make the club proud as he knows the club has got a lot to offer in the future.

His utility in the middle and back row earned him a spot in the 2023 Rugby World Cup with the Flying Fijians, where he made 1 appearance.

Vocevoce who has made 24 appearances in just two seasons with the Fijian Drua has quickly become an integral part of the squad since his debut, featuring regularly in the match-day 23.

The young star from Narewa, Nadi was the Pepsi Rookie of the Year at the Year at the Annual Fiji Airways Drua Awards in 2024, and got his first Drua try in last weekend’s win over the Queensland Reds.

Vocevoce has amassed 8 Flying Fijians caps since making his debut against Tonga in 2024.
