Team Fiji Bodybuilder, Jordan Pillay has been given $5000 sponsorship by Digicel Fiji ahead of the South Pacific Bodybuilding Championships.
While making the announcement, CEO Mike Greig says this is the first time Digicel is sponsoring a bodybuilder and they are excited to support Pillay.
Greig says funding has always been an issue for bodybuilders and Digicel will continue to support them.
Meanwhile Jordan Pillay says this is the first and biggest sponsorship he has ever received in his career.
Pillay says he will use the money for meals, transportation and other expenses which has always been difficult for him.
He hopes to get better results for Fiji compared to last year.
The South Pacific Bodybuilding Championships will be held in New Caledonia in the Physique category on 26th October.
