Blues coach, Leon MacDonald says he is disappointed about their game against the Highlanders in round 3 of the Super Rugby Aotearoa as some of the aspects of their game were not up to the standard they were hoping for.

He says they will be reviewing their game against the Highlanders as some aspects of their game such as defence, attack and game plan was not executed well.

MacDonald says players are still in work-hard mode as they have only played three games and he feels that they have a lot of work ahead of them.

The Crusaders are currently leading the competition with 14 points while the Blues are in second place with 12 points.

The Crusaders will take on the Blues at 7.05pm Saturday while the Hurricanes will face the Highlanders at 3.35pm Sunday
