Swami Vivekananda College wins Tadra Kahani with Connect

Swami Vivekananda College after winning the 2014 Tadra Kahani with Connect

Swami Vivekananda College is the first school from the Western Division to win the Tadra Kahani with Connect since the inception of Tadra Kahani.

The Nadi based school had won the inaugural competition when the show was known as Rock Challenge.

SVC put on a breathtaking performance last night to tell their story on Climate Change through music, dance and art.

Student representative, Luke Atama said they were confident of winning the Tadra Kahani with Connect because they were committed and had the will to win.

SVC Assistant Principal, Geeta Krishna said the SVC Tadra Kahani team had the backing of the whole school.

SVC also took home the Best Set and Backdrop Design Prize and the Best Costume and Make-Up Award.

Fiji LDS Church College grabbed the Best Choreography, Best Soundtrack, Best Lighting and the Special Concept Awards.

The best audience response award was given to Gospel High School.

Meanwhile, Organiser of Tadra Kahani with Connect, Total Event Company Manager, Loretta Jackson said the event was a success and they look forward to yet another great show next year.
