A heavy rain warning remains in force for Vanua Levu, Taveuni, Lau and the Lomaiviti Group but is cancelled for the rest of Fiji.
A flood warning remains in force the low lying areas and small streams adjacent and downstream of Rakiraki town, Wainibuka river, Nayavu station, Navolau station, Waimanu station and Nabukaluka river and Wailotua Station and areas downstream of Wainibuka river.
There is still a flood alert in force for Nausori town and areas downstream of Vatukacevaceva river.
At 7am this morning the water level at Wailotua station was 13.08m which is 8.08m above the warning level and is still rising, the level at Rakiraki Station was 3.17m which is 1.17m above warning level and decreasing.
The water level at Waimanu station was 6.51m which is 1.51m above warning level and increasing, the level at Navolau Station was 11.86m which is 3.86m above warning level and increasing.
The level at Rewa river was 4.97m which is .47m above warning level and increasing.
The next high tide is at 10:43am today.
The tropical depression was located at 330km West Northwest of Nadi at about 8 this morning and is expected to stay to the far West of Fiji.
The associated trough of low pressure and active rain bands affect the country.
The depression has a low chance of developing into a cyclone.
