The Fiji Airways Men’s national 7s team has won the HSBC World 7s series title after beating USA 33-14 in the semi-final of the Paris 7s.

Fiji will now play New Zealand in the final at 4.33 am today.

Fiji proved too good for USA as Fiji scored 5 tries in the match.

Meli Derenalagi, Sevuloni Mocenacagi and Jerry Tuwai scored Fiji’s tries in the first half as we led 19-7 at half-time.

Tuwai was also shown a yellow-card in the first half for a deliberate knock-on.

Derenalagi also produced a try saving tackle on Carlin Isles in the first-half.

Fiji scored two more tries in the second half through Vilimoni Botitu and Isoa Tabu.

This is Fiji’s fourth series title win.
