Bulou Karalaini Soqeta, captain of the Nasinu Secondary School Under-18 Raluve team, is focused on helping her side improve its fundamentals and execute the basics effectively during the Weet-Bix Raluve Competition.
Speaking to fijivillage News, Soqeta says the team is determined to build on last year's campaign after being eliminated in the quarter-finals.
The girl from Nakaseleka, Kadavu, has been entrusted with leading the Nasinu side this season and is confident her teammates have what it takes to make history by claiming the Raluve title.
Soqeta, who has been competing in the Raluve competition for the past four years, says she is eager to finish her final season on a high note and help bring the championship trophy to Nasinu.
The Raluve Southern Zone begins this weekend.
