Nakasi High School has booked its place in the Under-15 final of the Rewa Secondary Schools Football Association Competition after defeating Bhawani Dayal Arya College 2-0 in an impressive semi-final performance.
Nakasi High School took the lead in the 21st minute through Roko Cinavilakeba, before Arnav Mani doubled the advantage in the second half to seal the victory.
In the first semi-final, Vunimono High School edged Nasinu Muslim College in a dramatic contest.
After neither side could break the deadlock in regulation time or extra time, the match was decided by a penalty shootout.
Vunimono held their nerve to claim a thrilling 5-4 victory and book their place in the final.
The stage is now set for an exciting Under-15 championship clash between Nakasi High School and Vunimono High School.
The Under-15 final will kick off at 9am tomorrow at Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori, with supporters encouraged to turn out in large numbers to cheer on the young footballers as they compete for the title.
