Fijian-Australian chef Arrnott Salesi Olssen has officially opened bookings for his first-ever Kana Club Fiji Food Journey, inviting people to experience Fiji through its food, culture and people.
The journey also carries deep personal meaning for the former Gospel High School student, who has dedicated it to his late mother, Nancy, saying his love of cooking and discovering food began with her.
Olssen says everything he does today started with his mother, adding that she would have loved to see his dream become a reality.
He expresses his gratitude to her for her sacrifices, strength and unwavering belief in him, saying the inaugural food journey is for her.
The November experience will take guests through local markets, village kitchens, traditional recipes, local producers and authentic Fijian hospitality.
Olssen says the journey is more than just a food tour, describing it as the fulfilment of years of dreaming, planning and believing that one day he could take people back to the Fiji he knows and loves.
He says he is excited to finally share the experience with others and is grateful for the support, encouragement and media coverage the project has already received.
Olssen says every article, message and person who has supported the journey has meant more to him than they know.
He is encouraging those who want to experience Fiji beyond its resorts to join the inaugural Kana Club Fiji Food Journey, saying it offers an opportunity to discover the islands through their food, culture and people.
The first journey is anticipated to take place from 11th to 18th November 2026.
