The Fiji Roads Authority has completed asphalt concrete overlay works along Naviti Street in Lautoka as part of ongoing road renewal works aimed at improving road conditions and safety for motorists.
The FRA says the asphalt overlay is the final major activity in the road renewal works, with road markings and the replacement of streetlights still to be carried out along the road.
It says the improvements will provide better road access and a smoother, safer travelling experience for drivers and other road users.
Naviti Street is one of Lautoka City's main roads, serving local businesses and supporting the daily movement of people within the city.
