Nancy Cakacaka is a senior pastor’s wife, a youth pastor, a mentor and a woman dedicated to shaping the next generation.
Lovingly known as Aunty Nancy by many young people in her community, she has devoted much of her life to guiding youths, strengthening their Christian faith and encouraging them to make positive choices.
On this week’s fijivillage HerStory with Temalesi Vono, Nancy opens up about her own journey, from growing up in Bua with her grandparents after her parents separated, to the values of love, faith and discipline that shaped her upbringing.
She also shares her experiences working with young people, the challenges families and youths face today, and her message to young people to listen to their parents, stay grounded in their faith and know that they are loved.
