Rewa is now just one step away from securing a place in the BiC Fiji FACT semi-finals after battling to a 1-all draw against Suva.
Suva came out firing from the opening whistle and took the lead through midfielder Malakai Lavecake, who calmly converted a penalty to give his side a 1-0 advantage.
Trailing in the match, Rewa pushed forward in search of an equaliser.
Their persistence paid off when Kavaia Rawaqa found the back of the net to level the scores at 1-all.
Both teams continued to press for a winner and fought hard until the final whistle, but neither side was able to break the deadlock.
Speaking after the match, Rewa coach Purana Manu praised his players for their determination and fighting spirit.
He said the players worked hard to come back into the game and earn a valuable point.
Manu said he was proud of their performance and the effort they displayed throughout the match.
He added that Rewa is now just one step away from reaching the semi-finals but expects a tough challenge in their final pool match against Labasa tomorrow at 3pm.
Manu said he encouraged his players to keep working hard throughout the 90 minutes, and their commitment helped them secure the draw.
The result keeps Rewa's semi-final hopes alive as they prepare for their crucial clash against Labasa.
In another result, Nadroga thrashed Nasinu 4-0.
Ba is currently taking on Lautoka, while Labasa will face Navua at 6pm.
