In the first round of the Vodafone Super Deans National Quarterfinals at the HFC Bank Stadium, the Queen Victoria School U14 side demolished Nasinu 32-0.
In other U14 matches, Ratu Kadavulevu School beat Suva Grammar School 11-0, Mahatma Gandhi Memorial High School thrashed Nadi Muslim 36-14, while Ratu Navula outplayed Lelean Memorial School 27-12.
In the U15 grade it went down to the wire as QVS and Suva Grammar School were locked nil-all at halftime.
Both teams then scored a try each, with QVS stealing the win in the dying seconds of the game with a penalty to win it 10-8.
In the U15 grade that was played at Garvey Park, Tavua where Marist Brothers High School edged Natabua High School 13-10.
In the Weetbix Raluve U16 grade, Adi Cakobau School beat St Theresa 12-10.
