The Bula Boys will be looking to get its MSG Prime Minister’s Cup campaign back on track after collecting just one point from its opening two matches in the men’s competition at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva.
The team opened their campaign with a 3-all draw against Solomon Islands before going down 1-0 to defending champions Vanuatu on Monday night.
Fiji currently sits fourth on the standings with one point, while Solomon Islands leads the competition with four points after two matches.
Papua New Guinea and Vanuatu are close behind on three points each, while New Caledonia is yet to register a point.
The men’s competition resumes on tomorrow, with Solomon Islands taking on Vanuatu at 4pm before Papua New Guinea faces New Caledonia at 7pm.
On Sunday, Vanuatu take on New Caledonia at 4pm while the Bula Boys face PNG at 7pm.
Meanwhile, the Fiji Kulas are also searching for their first points in the women’s competition.
Papua New Guinea leads the women’s standings with six points from its opening two matches, followed by Vanuatu with four and Solomon Islands with one.
New Caledonia and Fiji are yet to register a point.
The Fiji Kulas will face Solomon Islands at 7 tonight, after Vanuatu takes on New Caledonia at 4pm.
The top two teams in the men’s and women’s competitions will qualify for their respective finals next Saturday.
