The McDonald’s Fiji Drua Women are embracing the challenge ahead as they prepare for a high-stakes Super Rugby Women semi-final against the Queensland Reds this weekend, with captain Bitila Tawake saying the team is determined to keep improving and earn a place in the grand final.
The Drua will face the Reds at Churchill Park this Saturday, knowing they will be up against a side full of confidence after Queensland’s impressive victory over the NSW Waratahs.
Tawake says the Reds’ performance has changed the outlook for this week’s clash and has pushed the Drua to lift their intensity at training.

With a grand final spot within reach, the Drua captain says the team is committed to giving everything on Saturday.
The Drua Women will host the Queensland Reds at Churchill Park in Lautoka at 1pm Saturday, with the winner securing a place in the Super Rugby Women grand final.
