Vodafone Fiji to build new mobile tower in Qila as it works to improve Taveuni coverage
Following concerns raised by Taveuni residents and the business community regarding poor network connectivity, Vodafone Fiji says it is continuing to monitor and improve its network in Taveuni.

The company says they are closely monitoring network performance to identify areas where demand has increased.

They are also assessing upgrades to improve network capacity and service.

Vodafone Fiji says it is aware that there are still parts of Taveuni where no mobile service is available from any provider.

They confirm they are building a new mobile tower in Qila as part of this year's network expansion plans. It says other areas of Taveuni will also be considered as the rollout programme continues.

Vodafone Fiji says the Government's Universal Service Obligation initiative is also helping telecommunications providers expand coverage to remote areas, including Taveuni.

The company is encouraging customers experiencing network issues to contact its Customer Care line on 123 so their concerns can be recorded and addressed as quickly as possible.
