From studying under a kerosene lamp in Levuka to becoming Fiji’s first in-country trained gynaecological oncologist, Dr Nanise Sikiti’s journey is one of sacrifice, resilience and determination.
Dr Sikiti will share her inspiring story on fijivillage Her-Story with Temalesi Vono on Wednesday at 7pm.
Dr Sikiti will share the beginning of her journey in humble surroundings in Levuka.
She will also speak about the sacrifices she has made throughout her career, the challenges of balancing family and professional responsibilities, and the people and experiences that have shaped the woman and doctor she is today.
