Marist Brothers High School has released some of its rugby players to other schools after those schools sought assistance to strengthen their preparations for this Saturday's Vodafone Fiji Secondary Schools Super Deans Championship.
Head of School Asish Dayal told fijivillage Sports that the parents of the players have given their consent, and the players have also volunteered to represent the other schools.
He says four players will join the Nasinu Secondary School Under-16 team, while another four will play for the MGM High School Under-14 rugby team.
Two Marist rugby team have qualified for the national quarter-finals. The Under-17 side will take on RKS at 11am at Bidesi Ground, while the Under-15 will meet Natabua High School at 9am at Garvey Park.
Meanwhile, MGM's Under-14 will face Nadi Muslim at 9am at Bidesi Ground, while Nasinu's Under-16 will take on Cuvu College at 10am at Garvey Park.
In the Under-18 quarterfinals at the HFC Bank Stadium, Lelean Memorial School will meet Ratu Navula College at 4.30pm, while Suva Grammar School will face Ba Provincial Freebird Institute at 5.55pm.
The remaining Under-18 quarterfinals will be played at Garvey Park in Tavua, where defending champions RKS face Ra High School at 1.40pm, while Cuvu College will face Nasinu Secondary School at 3.05pm.
