Accommodation remains a major issue for Ba Town as they don't have any major hotels, and concerns have been raised about its capacity to host visitors.
This has been highlighted by businessman and Ba Chamber of Commerce Treasurer, Anil Amin in an interview with fijivillage News.
Amin says that while the situation remains a challenge, there are gradual improvements with new Airbnbs.
He says there is a project coming up and there are signs that the Ba Hotel will be completed in time to come with a better vision.

When asked how Ba Town can sustain itself, Amin highlighted the increase in sporting events following the opening of 4R Stadium, Govind Park Ba.
He further says these events are generating flow-on benefits for local businesses, boosting economic activity in the town.
The Ba Chamber of Commerce Treasurer adds that the growth in sporting activities will also encourage investors to consider what further developments can be introduced in Ba.
