Swire Shipping Fijian Drua winger Selestino Ravutaumada says his mum is his pillar of strength and success on and off the field.

While speaking on this week's episode of Drua Village from camp on our website, fijivillage, Ravutaumada thanked all the women and mothers as we celebrated International Women’s Day this week.

As the former Marist Brothers High School student gets ready for the Drua's crunch match against the Crusaders at Churchill Park in Lautoka today, he says most sons out there are proud of their mothers, and he thanks his mum for being a role model to him.

Ravutaumada who was born and raised in Taveuni says his worst memory so far is getting a yellow card for the first time last week.

When questioned on his pre-game rituals, Ravutaumada says he calls his daughter to put a smile on his face and he listens to gospel songs as well.

The Drua vs Crusaders match kicks off at 1.05pm today.
