The Swire Shipping Fijian Drua went down fighting against the Hurricanes 38-34 in a thriller this afternoon in round 2 of the Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific.

The Drua played to the last minute as they hunted for their first win.

The Hurricanes started strong with a try to Du'Plessis Kirifi as they led 5-0, but the Drua responded through a try to Junior Ratuva.

Isaiah Armstrong-Ravula and Frank Lomani scored a try each in the first half to help the Drua lead the Hurricanes 22-19 at halftime.

The Hurricanes came on strong in the second half, however, two minutes into the second half, Isoa Nasilasila crossed over the try line to put the Drua ahead.

Hurricanes fly-half Harry Godfrey combined well with half-back Cam Roigard as they rallied the boys forward.

Godfrey, Roigard and Bailyn Sullivan scored for the Hurricanes in the second half.

The final 10 minutes saw both teams battling for glory but in the end, the Hurricanes came out victorious.

In other matches, the Highlanders will take on the Blues at 6.05 tonight, and the Brumbies will play the Force at 8.35 tonight.
