Armstrong-Ravula to make first start for Flying Fijians against the All Blacks

Swire Shipping Fijian Drua youngster Isaiah Armstrong-Ravula will make his first start for the Fiji Water Flying Fijians as coach Mick Byrne makes 7 changes to his match day 23 squad that will take on the All Blacks this weekend in San Diego.

It will be a baptism of fire for the 20-year-old who made his international debut against Georgia off the bench, and now he has been named to start at flyhalf, moving Vilimoni Botitu to fullback with Ilaisa Droasese rested for this match.

Also making their first appearance for the Flying Fijians this year will be Semi Radradra who will start at wing while Caleb Muntz will be on the bench with Sireli Maqala.

Eroni Mawi, Tevita Ikanivere and Mesake Doge retain their positions in the front row with Isoa Nasilasila and Temo Mayanavanua pairing up again at locks.

Lekima Tagitagivalu and Kitione Salawa will again start on the flanks with Viliame Mata retaining his spot at number 8.

Frank Lomani will start at halfback once again, forming the halves pair with Armstrong-Ravula, Radradra will link up with Jiuta Wainiqolo on the wings and Inia Tabuavou will again pair up in the centres with captain Waisea Nayacalevu while Botitu will start at fullback.

On the bench, Zuriel Tongiatama, Haereiti Hetet, Samu Tawake, Albert Tuisue and Elia Canakaivata will cover the forwards while Simione Kuruvoli, Muntz and Maqala will cover the backline.

The Flying Fijians will take on the All Blacks at 2.30pm on Saturday at Snapdragon Stadium San Diego.
