Magistrate to rule on Kamikamica's no case to answer application on August 3rd

Magistrate Charles Ratakele will rule on 3rd August in the no case to answer application for former Deputy Prime Minister Manoa Kamikamica's perjury trial in the Suva Magistrates Court.

This is after both sides filed their closing submissions.

Defence lawyer Wylie Clarke filed for a no case to answer yesterday after FICAC had closed their case.

Kamikamica is charged with perjury and giving false statement to a public servant

FICAC had called two witnesses - Janet Mason who assisted the COI as well as Government MP Kalaveti Ravu.
