This is the very best preshow that we have ever had and I am so excited about what was on the runway.

Vodafone Fiji Fashion Week Managing Director, Ellen Whippy-Knight stated this when asked about the Resort Cruise Show which went off without a hitch last night as people braved the Suva rain to attend.

Whippy-Knight says Friday night is always a risk in terms of production, designer quality, and audience response, especially when there were 10 international fashion media there.

The 12 that showcased their line were a mixture of local emerging, established and regional designers.

The Managing Director says if they loved last night then tonight is going to be an explosive experience.

She adds it will not just be the established, but emerging designers who are now in the established category, because they have moved on, developed, finding their ground and now know who they are designing for and are really enjoying their job.

Whippy-Knight says there is a designer in everybody.

Tonight’s show will feature another 12 designers who will be taking part in the Luxury Resort wear.

Doors open from 6pm at the Vodafone Arena.

Tickets range from $10 to $200 which can be purchased through M-paisa or from the Fiji Fashion Week office located at 7-11 Brewster Street, Suva.
