The Mahatma Gandhi Memorial High School Under-14 rugby team secured a convincing 32-19 victory over Suva Grammar School today to book a place in next week's Vodafone Deans Southern Zone Secondary Schools Rugby Union semi-finals.
In the same grade, Marist Brothers High School defeated Dudley High School 10-0.
In the Under-15 division, Gospel High School thrashed Dudley High School 29-3, while Nasinu Secondary School edged Christian Mission Fellowship 17-12.
Suva Grammar School also recorded a dominant 40-22 win over Ratu Simione Matanitobua College.
The Under-16 grade saw MGM High School overpower Marist Brothers High School 54-29. Dudley High School blanked Nabua Secondary School 26-0, Nasinu Secondary School defeated Church College Fiji 36-17, and Suva Grammar School beat Lami High School 32-12.
In the Under-17 division, Suva Grammar School proved too strong for Nasinu Secondary School with a 31-13 win, while Gospel High School cruised past Ratu Simione Matanitobua College 46-3.
In the Under-19 category, Naitasiri Secondary School edged Lomary Secondary School 19-18 in a thrilling contest.
Marist Brothers High School defeated Ratu Latianara College 29-20, while Nasinu Secondary School claimed a narrow 25-24 victory over Suva Grammar School.
