The atmosphere is electric at Govind Park in Ba as fans from Fiji and overseas gather to witness a historic moment for the McDonald's Fiji Drua Women in the Super W final.
Supporters at the 4R Stadium, with families, friends and rugby fans are currently cheering on the Drua Women as they host the NSW Waratahs in their first-ever Super W final.
Fazia Fauzan says the final represents a proud moment for women in sport and for the Ba community.
Fauzan says she is attending her first women's rugby match and is excited to support the Drua Women alongside her family and friends.
She believes the match highlights the growing role of women in sport and says events like this support Ba's ambition of becoming a sporting hub in Fiji.
Meanwhile, Waratahs supporter David Halse travelled from Sydney, Australia,said he is expecting a closely contested match between two strong sides.
Halse is also celebrating a special connection to the match, as his daughter, Caitlyn, is involved in the game.
The Drua Women will kick off at 1.05pm, as they aim to win the Super W title against Waratahs this afternoon.
