Sigatoka police officer’s death classified as natural after post mortem
A police officer whose body was found in Sigatoka Town on Thursday died of natural causes, following a post-mortem examination.

Police say officer’s death was linked to an underlying medical condition, which was exacerbated by personal lifestyle choices.

They say foul play has been ruled out based on the findings of the post-mortem examination.

Police say the findings have been communicated to the officer's next of kin.

Police are calling on members of the public to allow the family to mourn and to avoid spreading speculation about the officer's death.
