Police continue search for 18 missing people

Police say the search continues for 18 people who are currently reported missing across the country.

They say officers are continuing to gather information that could help locate the missing people, but so far none have been found.

Those still missing are 78-year-old Singa Mani, who was reported missing at Nakasi Police Station and has been missing from home since 3rd February; 17-year-old Shimran Kumar, reported missing at Nakasi Police Station since 15th February; 19-year-old Nacanieli Ratumara, reported missing at Nausori Police Station since 13th March; 49-year-old Zareena Bibi, reported missing at Totogo Police Station since 19th February; 39-year-old Kriteshni Sanjana Goundar, reported missing at Labasa Police Station since 27th March; 15-year-old Maria Vuniadi, reported missing at Labasa Police Station since 11th April; 17-year-old Torika Dikainona, reported missing at Labasa Police Station since 11th April; 16-year-old Mere Divoce Tasere, reported missing at Korovou Police Station since 16th April; 29-year-old Vetaia Saunibula, reported missing at Lautoka Police Station since 20th April; 17-year-old Salote Adibuli Tukana, reported missing at Totogo Police Station since 30th April; 16-year-old Salaseini Nacika, reported missing at Nakasi Police Station since 29th April; 84-year-old Kitione Botitu, reported missing at Ba Police Station since 24th April; 45-year-old Usenia Ceinalewa, reported missing at Sigatoka Police Station since 9th April; 28-year-old Timaio Lanyon, reported missing at Tukavesi Police Station since 19th May; 13-year-old Meredani Moce, reported missing at Nadi Police Station since 21st May; 18-year-old Sereima Lalabalavu and 16-year-old Elenoa Veresa, both reported missing at Korovou Police Station since 21st March; and 16-year-old Jone Lutudromu, reported missing at Lautoka Police Station since 19th June.

Police are urging anyone with information about the whereabouts of any of the missing people to contact Crime Stoppers on 919 or 917.
