Husband appeals for help after wife allegedly taken by force in Nakasi

The husband of a woman who has been missing since 17th June is appealing for help to find her, claiming she was forcibly taken from 9 Miles in Nakasi.

Speaking to fijivillage News, Rizwan Ali claims his 38-year-old wife, Sophia Bi, was with their son and daughter when they stopped near Bhan's Car Sales in Nakasi to get a quotation.

Ali alleges that a man opened the vehicle door, forcibly pulled his wife from the car and threatened her and their son before taking her away in a taxi.

He claims his wife screamed for help, but no one was able to assist.

Ali says the incident was reported at the Nakasi Police Station on the same day.

He says the family has not heard from Bi since the incident and has also not received any updates from Police, leaving them deeply worried about her safety.

Ali is appealing to anyone with information about his wife's whereabouts to come forward and assist Police.

Questions have been sent to Police, and we are awaiting a response.
