Actress and model Shefali Jariwala, best known for the 2000s hit Kaanta Laga song and her appearance on Bigg Boss 13, has died following an alleged cardiac arrest at the age of 42 in Mumbai, India.
The Times of India says the actress was rushed to Bellevue Multispeciality Hospital yesterday by her husband, actor Parag Tyagi, and three others.
However, despite receiving immediate medical treatment, she was declared dead.
News of her sudden passing has left the television industry reeling and her fans in mourning.
Television celebrities Aly Goni, Rajiv Adatia, and others have taken to their social media accounts to express their condolences.
