69-year-old Mereoni Luvuhila who has been in the tailoring business for 40 years, has never regretted venturing into a challenging sector as the income has helped her to support her family, her children and grandchildren’s education and also her commitments to the Vanua and the church.

She says she started her sewing business after she left school.

The 69-year-old adds she can earn around $300 to $500 in a week from her tailoring business.

She says the only challenge she faces in running a home-based business is sorting out household chores before heading on to her business.
