Telecom Fiji has reaffirmed its commitment as the Platinum Sponsor of TOPEX 2026, with organisers saying the long-standing partnership will continue to strengthen Fiji's business community by bringing together leaders, innovators and entrepreneurs to tackle key opportunities and challenges facing the country.
Speaking during the sponsorship announcement, TOPEX Chair Rowena Taito says the conference has evolved into much more than an annual business event, becoming a key platform where businesses come together to learn, collaborate and discuss issues affecting Fiji's economy.
Taito says more than 400 people attended TOPEX last year, with 40 percent being first-time participants and more than 30 percent returning for at least their third conference, highlighting the event's growing influence.
She says the conference brings together government leaders, private sector representatives, non-government organisations and entrepreneurs to explore business opportunities and solutions, with Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka officially opening the event over the past two years.
Taito thanked Telecom Fiji for supporting TOPEX for more than a decade and for stepping up as the Platinum Sponsor last year through a two-year sponsorship commitment.
She says Telecom Fiji has become more than just a sponsor, describing the company as a genuine partner that helps shape the conference programme.
Taito highlighted Telecom Fiji's role in bringing an artificial intelligence expert to last year's conference, helping local businesses better understand emerging technologies and how they can benefit from AI.

Meanwhile, Telecom Fiji Chief Marketing Officer Saileshni Chand says the company believes strong businesses create stronger communities, stronger industries and ultimately a stronger Fiji.
Chand says Telecom Fiji remains committed to supporting initiatives that bring together leaders, innovators, entrepreneurs and decision-makers to share ideas, inspire innovation and help shape the country's future.
She says the company's partnership with the Fiji Commerce and Employers Federation reflects its commitment to empowering businesses through fibre connectivity, cloud services, cybersecurity, mobile communications and digital transformation solutions that improve productivity and growth.
Chand says supporting TOPEX is more than sponsorship, describing it as an investment in leadership development, business excellence and Fiji's future prosperity.
She also thanked the Fiji Commerce and Employers Federation for its long-standing partnership and reaffirmed Telecom Fiji's commitment to helping build a more connected, innovative and prosperous Fiji.
TOPEX 2026 will be held from the 19th to the 21st of November, with tickets expected to go on sale soon.
