Ro Teimumu launches Rewa Festival and Bilibili Race

Opposition Leader and Marama na Roko Tui Dreketi Ro Teimumu Kepa has launched the Logo of the new Rewa website page  rewafest.org along with the Rewa Festival which will be held at Syria Park in Nausori from the 2nd to the 4th of next month.

Ro Teimumu says that the launch is in line with the Pre COP23 currently held in Denarau as the issue is localised in Rewa.

She says that pollution in the Rewa Delta is an issue that needs urgent attention.

Ro Teimumu also highlighted that 50% of the people of Rewa depend on the Rewa River as their source of food and therefore a cleanup campaign has been put in place.

She says that one of their objectives is to focus on the health and wellness of their people as a review has shown a high level of NCD’S around the country.

Ro Teimumu says that the Festival which will also feature a Bilibili race and they hope for the festival to achieve raise a sum of $50,000 which will be directed to the funding of Scholarship for the students of the province of Rewa and to cater for investments around the province.
