The stage is set for an exciting start to the 2026 BiC Fiji FACT as Lautoka FC and Nasinu FC prepare to clash in the opening match of the tournament at Subrail Park in Labasa on 19th June.
With pride, bragging rights and the first major trophy of the season on the line, eight of Fiji's top district teams will battle it out over two weekends in what is expected to be a thrilling competition.
Fiji Football Association CEO Mohammed Yusuf says anticipation is growing as teams arrive with strengthened squads and high expectations.
Yusuf says fans can expect quality football, exciting new signings and fierce competition throughout the tournament.
The excitement is already being felt off the field, with VVIP tickets nearly sold out as supporters rush to secure their seats for one of Fiji football's biggest events.
Group A features defending champions Labasa, Rewa, Suva and Navua, while Lautoka, Ba, Nasinu and Nadroga make up Group B.
Lautoka will face Nasinu at 1pm in the opener, while traditional giants Ba will play Nadroga at 3pm, Rewa will face Navua at 5pm, while hosts Labasa will take on Suva under lights at 7.30pm.
The pool matches will be played from 19th to 21st June before the action returns for the semi-finals on 27th June and the grand final on 28th June at Subrail Park.
