The funeral service of 38-year-old Vimal Vikash Nand who was allegedly assaulted that resulted in his death on Sunday, is currently underway in Kulukulu, Sigatoka.
Hundreds of people including families, friends, workmates and residents have gathered to pay their last respects to the Sigatoka family.
During the funeral service, families and friends said Nand was a kind hearted and a loving man who will always be remembered for this hardworking and caring nature.
Nand will be laid to rest at Koromumu Cemetery in Sigatoka at 1pm today.
It is alleged that Nand and his sons were assaulted on Sunday by the two suspects following a confrontation over an incident involving one of Nand's farm animals.
Police investigations continue.
