The work of 23-year-old local emerging designer Yolla Johns has received another great recognition by international fashion label Kookai.
Johns whose swim wear collection called Samununu featured at the Emerging Designers Show last night has been invited once again by Robert Cromb, the Managing Director of Kookai Australia for a second internship in Melbourne after he was impressed with her work.
Johns had won the Most Promising Designer of the Year award last year and went to Melbourne for internship earlier this year.
Johns said she will make the most of it
She said for her advice to aspiring designers is to take criticism in a positive way and learn from it.
