The Fiji Sevens team coaching staff will be looking to use Niko Verekauta as the go to man in the Scotland and England tournaments.
Assistant coach Etuate Waqa said with the exclusion of Sikeli Vuruna from the team, Verekauta’s speed will be needed out wide.
Waqa said Verekauta is well prepared for the last two tournaments.
The team has already arrived in Scotland.
The Scotland Sevens tournament will kick off this Saturday with Fiji taking on Zimbabwe 10.36pm.
Fiji then takes on Portugal at 1.42am Sunday and Argentina at 5.37am Sunday.
The Cup quarters kick off at 10.58pm Sunday, the Cup semis start at 2.48am Monday and the Scotland Sevens Cup Final will be played at 5.36am Monday.
