Suva unhappy with Maikali’s suspension
The Suva Football Association is unhappy about the ruling of the Fiji FA Board of Control on player Simione Maikali who has been suspended from one match at district level and fined $1000.

President Mahend Prasad said clearly the incident during the IDC final was started by the Ba players and such ruling is unacceptable.

Prasad added they will later give their full report and plans to take this further after their Emergency Executive meeting next week.

Meanwhile, Ba soccer striker, Osea Vakatalesau has been suspended from all levels of football for three months and fined $1500.

Two other Ba players, Abbu Zahid and Avinesh Waran have been suspended from one match at district level and fined $1000 each.
