Lautoka gets boost

Lautoka gets boost
The Lautoka soccer team's chances of beating Marist FC in the O-League on Sunday is further boosted with the inclusion of striker Jone Vono Jnr, Osea Vakatalesau and Alvin Avinesh.

Both Vakatalesau and Avinesh did not play for the Blues in last year's O-League, as they were still with their former districts Navua and Ba while Jone Vono was suspended.

Lautoka now lies in second spot with 6 points on the points table and cannot afford to lose any more of their remaining three games to stand a chance of playing the O-League final.

After winning the CVC title, Coach Imdad Ali is likely to stick to the same lineup that thumped Ba 7-nil although Lorima Dau has been ruled out, as he is still registered under Hekari United in the O-League.

The Lautoka and Marist FC game will kick-off at 3pm on Sunday and you can catch live commentary on our sister radio station Sargam.
