Organizers of the Uprising 7s have confirmed they are reserving two spots for the shadow national 7s rugby team, however, there is still no confirmation from the Fiji rugby union in relation to their participation.
Meanwhile, the Australian Thunderbolts have named a star studded team for the Uprising International 7s next week.
Coach, Michael O'Connor has named seven players who featured in the last IRB World 7s series leg in the likes of Cameron Clarke, Con Foley, Pama Fou, Peter Lee and Jordan Tuapou.
Shannon Walker will make a return along with Lewis Holland and Jesse Parahi.
The Australians are one of the overseas based teams that have confirmed their participation in the Uprising 7s which kicks off next Friday at Churchill park.
