Four political parties are working together to make a joint submission to the Constitutional Commission when it sits from next month.
SDL Leader, Laisenia Qarase revealed during the SDL party meeting late last week that they are in the process of seeking common ground in the discussions with the Fiji Labour Party, the National Federation Party and the United People's Party.
Qarase has already announced that the SDL wants the last elected parliament to be re-convened, make appropriate amendments to the 1997 constitution including changes to the electoral system and hold elections under the revised 97 constitution.
Attorney General, Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum said that these politicians cannot adjust to the changes happening in Fiji.
Labour Party Leader, Mahendra Chaudhry said that the parties will continue with their discussions, and he also commented on Sayed-Khaiyum's statement that many of the politicians do not know how to use the internet.
