The search continues for a 68-year-old man from Udu Village in Totoya, Lau, who went missing at sea on Thursday.
He took his new white fibreglass boat, named JAHAZIAH, for a test run towards Cakauloaloa Reef but failed to return.
Police say the search will continue today through a joint operation involving the Republic of Fiji Navy, Police and local communities.
His wife reported him missing, after which a search party was formed.
The Rescue Coordination Centre Fiji is coordinating the search, with a Navy vessel deployed to assist.
Authorities are urging maritime communities to keep a watchful eye and call 1681 if they have any information that could assist in locating the missing man.
