The South African sevens players are going into the cup quarterfinals against Fiji with only one thing in mind and that is - it’s just another 14 minutes.
South Africa had a clean sweep yesterday in the Pool matches of New Zealand sevens with convincing wins against USA and Cook Islands and a 14-10 win against England.
Coach Paul Treu said winning in New Zealand is far more special than any other tournament as people are just crazy about rugby in this country.
The cup quarterfinals starts at 1.33pm with New Zealand playing France, at 1.55pm England will meet Tonga, Canada faces Samoa at 2.17pm while the South Africa and Fiji game is at 2.39pm.
The cup semi final starts at 5.35pm. The cup final will be played at 8.30pm.
