Communication key to Fiji’s World Championship hopes in Valladolid - Kolinisau

Communication is the key if the Fiji Airways Men's National 7s side are to win the World Championship Valladolid, Spain leg.

These were the words of Head Coach Osea Kolinisau to fijivillage Sports saying they need to sort out their communication first before they focus on other areas of the game.

Kolinisau says they will also be focusing on their tackle height, as they seem to be bouncing off the defence easily.

He says it is the little things they are getting wrong, and they are working on addressing those issues ahead of the tournament this weekend.

Kolinisau is in charge of the defence while Assistant Coach Jerry Tuwai is looking after the attack and the halfbacks.

The Men's team kick of their campaign on Friday against France at 11.40pm.

They then play the USA at 4.24am Saturday before facing hosts Spain at 12.12am Sunday.

The Men's Cup quarter finals kick off at 2.27am Sunday, the semi finals at 8.44pm Sunday with the final at 2.26am next Monday.  

The Fijiana 7s will play the USA at 8pm Friday, they then meet Australia at 12.51am Saturday before facing South Africa at 8pm.
