McDonald’s Fiji Director passes away

One of the directors of McDonald's Fiji, Craig McElrath passed away in the US on Wednesday.

He passed away in a hospital in Texas.

McDonald's Fiji said Craig was full of life and enjoyed it till the end.

They say that he will be sadly missed by everyone within McDonalds Fiji, Australia, NZ and the Pacific islands team.

The late Craig McElrath's father, Dennis was the original developer of Denarau Island.  

His mother, Beverly is from the prominent Watson family from Nadi.

Together with his mother and brother, Mark, the late Craig McElrath brought McDonald's to Fiji.

Funeral details will be announced later.
