Rewa coach Priyant Manu says his side is taking a game-by-game approach as they prepare for their next challenge in the 2026 BiC Fiji FACT following a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Navua.

Speaking to fijivillage News after the game, Manu said Rewa made a slow start but improved significantly in the second half to secure the win.

He revealed that his half-time message was for the players to increase the tempo, press higher and stick to their game plan.

Manu says the team responded well, enjoying more possession and showing greater intensity, which helped them score two second-half goals.

He also praised his defence for standing strong under pressure despite Navua creating several scoring opportunities.

The Rewa coach stressed that defensive discipline will be crucial throughout the tournament and said his side is focused on taking one match at a time.

Rewa will face Suva at 2pm in their second pool match today before taking on defending champions Labasa at 3pm tomorrow.

Meanwhile, in other matches today, Nasinu will take on Nadroga at midday, Ba will face Lautoka at 4pm, while hosts Labasa will take on Navua at 6pm.
