Fiji produced one of its strongest performances of the tournament, taking control early and heading into half-time with a commanding 32–16 lead.
The Pearls maintained their composure after the break, continuing to apply pressure and eventually sealing a 21-goal victory.
The result provided a positive finish to Fiji’s campaign, but it was not enough to keep their Netball World Cup hopes alive.
Tonga and Samoa secured the two qualifying places from the Oceania region and will now turn their attention to the Netball World Cup in Australia in 2027.
For the Pearls, the road to the next major tournament begins again from here.
