Those were the words of Hailey Qaqa who was crowned TFL Miss Fiji 2017 last night.
Miss Nasinu also bagged the Miss People's Choice Award and is grateful for all the support she has received so far.
Qaqa believes that there is no other greater threat to the environment than climate change.
Attorney General Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum while officiating at the crowning ceremony stated that we need young people of our country to understand climate change.
He adds that they have moved three villages because of the impact of climate change.
Meanwhile, Miss Sigatoka Magdalene Vollmer won Miss Tourism and Miss Photogenic.
Miss Ba, Teupola Waqabaca won Miss Personality.
Miss Ovalau, Eka Buadromo won Miss Internet.
Qaqa will now take part in the upcoming Miss Pacific Islands Pageant in December in Nadi.
