The battle at the breakdown will be crucial when the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua take on the Chiefs, with the outcome in that area likely to determine the winner.
Drua head coach Glen Jackson told fijivillage Sports from Nadi that the Chiefs are highly aggressive and dominant at the breakdown, especially with their current loose forward combination, making the contest a tough challenge.
Jackson said the Drua have reviewed the Chiefs’ performance from last week and are aware of their strong ball-carrying ability in the midfield.
He added that while the Chiefs are an exciting team to watch, the Drua defeated them in Lautoka last year and are confident they can repeat that success this season.
The Fijian Drua play the Chiefs at 4.30pm Sunday in Christchurch.
In other games, the Crusaders will face the Waratahs at 7.35pm tomorrow, the Hurricanes will meet the Brumbies at 5.05pm Saturday, the Blues play the Reds at 7.35pm, while the Highlanders will face Moana Pasifika at 2pm Sunday.
