Tavua College is targeting a few medals at the Coca-Cola Games
As the 2026 Coca-Cola Games preparation intensifies, Tavua College is aiming to finish high in this year’s competition.

In an interview with fijivillage News, Team Manager Praneel Kumar says the team's focus is on fitness, discipline, and teamwork.

Kumar says that with 21 athletes, they are expecting at least a medal each, and they will be able to meet the challenges, as other schools are also preparing well.

He says the athletes have been training rigorously under the guidance of their coaches.

He further says that both medal-winning athletes from last year have moved to bigger schools, but they remain positive.

Tavua College won one silver and one bronze medal last year.

The team is scheduled to arrive in Suva by Wednesday.

The Team Manager has acknowledged the support of the principal and parents.

The Coca-Cola Games will be held from Thursday to Saturday at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva.
